Jesus Culture – How He Loves Lyrics

“How He Loves” is a song about love (feat. Kim Walker-Smith) He is envious of my success. When love hits, it’s like a hurricane, and I’m a tree bent under the weight of His kindness and wind. When all of a sudden, I am completely ignorant of my troubles because they have been overwhelmed by glory Moreover, I have come to appreciate exactly how gorgeous you are and how tremendous your feelings for me are. And, oh, how He cares for us. Oh, how He cares for us, how He cares for us He’s envious of me, I’m sure.

  1. When all of a sudden, I am completely ignorant of my troubles because they have been overwhelmed by glory Moreover, I have come to appreciate exactly how gorgeous you are and how tremendous your feelings for me are.

  3. Oh, how He cares for us.

  6. We are His portion, and He is the reward we have won.
  7. If grace is a body of water, we’re all drowning (ha ha) As a result, heaven and earth are kissing each other like a sloppy wet kiss.

I don’t have the luxury of continuing to harbor these regrets.

Oh, how He cares for us.

Oh, how He adores you.

Oh, how He cares for us.

Oh, how He adores you.

Yep, he cares about us.

Yep, he cares about us.

Oh, how He cares for us.

He cares about us (ha)Yeah, his presence is comforting.

Tonight, the atmosphere is heavy and tangible in this room.

And tonight, God wishes to speak with you personally.

His incredible affection.

These are only words on a page.

Without the love of God, it’s as if we’re simply up here creating a racket for no apparent reason.

It is impossible to return to our former selves after we have experienced God’s love for us.

You would never be the same after that experience.

And we’re about to come face to face with God’s love right now.

And I pray to God that every heart will be open right now, as well.

It is necessary for every spirit to be opened.

I’m writing to you.

Tonight, I expect a romantic meeting from you.

God.

Oh, how He cares for us.

Allow it to sink deep, deep, deepHe cares about us.

The reading time is 5 minutes. If you’re a fan of contemporary praise music, you’re probably familiar with John McMillan’s song “How He Loves Us.” A large number of performers have performed the song since it was written in 2005 and has become a staple in their repertoire. Others who have done so include Kim Walker from Jesus Culture and David Crowder, among others. It’s obvious, and the incredible truth that underpins the song is really moving — God loves us! While this is unquestionably true, it is equally critical to recognize how much he cares about us.

  1. Before I go any further, if you haven’t already, spend a few minutes to listen to both of these musicians sing this song together.
  2. Kim Walker is a woman who lives in the United States.
  3. Of recap, here are the lyrics to verse 2 in case you missed them: We are His portion, and He is the reward we have won.
  4. As a result, Heaven and Earth come together like akiss.
  5. I don’t have the luxury of continuing to harbor these regrets.
  6. In verse 2, both performers sung similes that were distinct from one another.
  7. However, this is not the case.

Unfortunately, the English language does not provide adequate explanations for many terms.

The Greek language, on the other hand, has a variety of terms for “love,” each of which conveys a distinct connotation.

When talking about the sort of love God has for us, it is extremely crucial to remember this.

God’s love for us is unfailing and unconditional.

God’s love is unconditional; He does not demand us to love Him in return for His love for us.

The word “each other” is crucial in this context.

Love is a two-way street.

Obeyance and reverence are the only responses we, as humans, are capable of.

Walker sings the words “sloppy wet kiss” at the beginning of the song.

But the difficulty is that this analogy doesn’t actually reflect God’s love (agape), but rather the love that exists between two people, in this case a man and a woman (eros).

God’s love is more about affection than it is about attractiveness, according to the Bible.

As a result of our attachment, we frequently take actions that are not purely sexual in nature, which is most noticeable in mature relationships.

It is a selfless deed performed out of love for the other person.

Changing the lyric to “so heaven touches earth like a spouse doing the dishes” would make more sense than changing it to “sloppy wet kiss,” which would make more sense.

This appears to be more effective.

Just as we don’t deserve God’s love, we will never be able to fathom or understand why God would feel such intense affection for us.

Which one do you recommend we use?

It is my belief that God’s love is considerably more profound than passionate and sexual love (eros), and as a result I would not describe God’s love in this manner.

I’d like to believe that as time goes, God wishes for us to mature and create a meaningful connection with him.

Please feel free to remark and spread the word.

“We Cry Out” was recorded by Kim Walker for the Jesus Culture CD “We Cry Out” (published in 2008); David Crowder recorded it for his album “Church Music” (released in 2009). Integrity’s Hosanna! Music sang the second verse of “How He Loves Us,” penned by John Mark McMillan in 2005.

Background

Following the loss of his best friend, Stephen Coffey, McMillan penned “How He Loves” as a memorial. Coffey worked as a youth minister with the MorningStar Ministries organization in the past. A church prayer gathering took place on November 1, 2002, during which Coffey prayed aloud, “I’d offer my life today if it would rock the young of the nation.” That that night, he was involved in a multi-car collision, in which he died as a result of his injuries. When McMillan received a call from a buddy telling him that two of his pals were gravely injured in a vehicle accident in Jacksonville, Florida, he was in the middle of recording at a studio.

The next day, McMillan penned “How He Loves” as a homage to Coffey and as a result of a desire “to have some type of discourse with God” in which he could express his frustrations and feelings following the loss of his long-time friend.

The type of love that is willing to love even when things are rough and messy is described as unconditional love.

A God who would want to be with us through those things, who would want to be a part of our life through those things, and who would want to be a part of us, our community, and our family, regardless of who we are, is celebrated in this service.”

Song Story: How He Loves

As a result, Heaven and Earth come together like a sloppy wet kiss. And my heart beats wildly inside my chest; I don’t have time to harbor these regrets; when I consider the way. he cares for us. In a song, the heart is more than just the tale of its inspiration or origin; it is also the story that the song becomes in the minds of both the listener and the performer. When John Mark McMillan told the tale of his buddy Stephen at a conference attended by 70,000 young people, the song “How He Loves” became the anthem of a youth movement and became known worldwide.

Stephen’s earthly existence came to an end in a horrible event that occurred that very night.

It was around this time that I sat down and had a talk with God about it.

” God agreed to take him up on his offer.

Truth is being twisted.

One thing I deeply regret is that I didn’t give my words more consideration before saying them.

None of it was, in any way, shape, or form, inaccurate.

It’s similar to the telephone in that it’s a tale that becomes weirder with each passing telling.

Nevertheless, I said to myself, “that’s a fantastic story, but it’s not real at all.” Although originally about God, the song became about Stephen and a movement when it should have been about God.

We have these places where we would like for God to love us.

God, on the other hand, is not bound by time or traditions, as you may be aware.

God exists, and he can be found in every scenario if you look for him.

My buddy, a young, healthy man, died in a horrific automobile accident, and God was able to teach me who he is even in the midst of such a difficult scenario.

“At church, we prefer to put up a good show and pretend everything is well.

In my opinion, the song wasn’t so much about “how much” he loves us as it was about “how much he loves us so much that he died.” It was a question of ‘how’ he loved us, rather than ‘what’ he loved us.

In the belief that Jesus is familiar with our condition, we may rest certain that we do not worship a God who is indifferent to our sorrow, anguish, or joy.

In actuality, he is a human who has lived and experienced life on Earth.” I was enraged beyond measure.

And I realized that if you’re upset with nobody, you’re actually angry at God, because he’s the only one who can make a difference in your life.

I didn’t have a negative attitude at all.

I was just a little wounded, I think.

As a result, I totally like doing it.

Finding Your Own Personality “I believe I have been called to inspire worshiping congregations to compose their own music.

Depending on your audience, you can write something that is only slightly significant to a large group of people or something that is really essential to a smaller number of people.

People communicate in a variety of ways.

And they each have their own unique manner of going about it.

But my goal is that they’ll say something like, ‘This motivates me to go compose something and sing my heart out and assist my group of people connect with God in a manner they’re meant to,’ or something similar.

And I heard your song, and something in me shattered,’ since the music is a reflection of their suffering.

“I believe that what has truly occurred is that this song has provided individuals with the chance to have that discussion, a dialogue that they were not aware they were permitted to have, and has provided them with the opportunity to encounter God once more.” He does care about us, to be sure.
