YUMI's Committee volunteer their time, energy and skills to make sure the organisation is run well and provide a constructively critical eye to check that it continues to provide the best possible service for its members .

The Committee meet at least 4 times a year and their key focus is to ensure that the organisation:

  • operates legally and abides by the rules within its constitution
  • applies its policies consistently and rigorously and subjects these to regular reviews
  • maintains effective and committed pursuance of its aims
  • keeps meticulous records and control of its finances
