It is with regret that we have taken the decision to POSTPONE Saturday’s event. Unfortunately we have had a number of people drop out from attending due to worries surrounding COVID-19.
We were really looking forward to the event and sorry for any disappointment caused. We hope you understand and agree that at the moment this is the most responsible course of action.
We would hope that following Government advice we would be able to reschedule for later in the Year and that you will be able to join us then for what promises to be a really popular event.
Women for the Environment

Across York there are fantastic organisations led by women, all working towards a better more inclusive environment. We plant trees, work to reduce food waste and improve the environment around us, as well use gardening to build respect and integration throughout the city.

Come along and find out more about projects across York, plant some seeds to take home, try out some different bikes and exchange unwanted books.

Organisations involved:

YUMI – offering tea and cake, plus a chance to see their community garden
United Bikes – try out some bikes in the walled garden
Treemendous – plant a tree sapling to take home
Edible York – plant some seeds to take home and grow
Bookcase for all – come along and exchange any unwanted books (or just find a new read)

FREE – come along to the YUMI International Community Garden, Fulford Cross Allotments, off Fulford Rd, York YO10 4NU (signage on the day)
